Typography | Kappa Alpha Theta ASU

If you follow this blog, you know I'm obsessed with typography. So any chance I have to have a little fun with fonts, I take it - even if that means my sorority's latest achievement.

To those people who say joining a sorority is paying for friends:
well if that's the case I certainly didn't pay enough.
So blessed at proud to be a part of {Kappa Alpha Theta at Arizona State University}
ASU's newest chapter of the year.

About Me: Cary LaCouture Photography

I have a job.

I don't feel cool saying that anymore.
Until this year, I had like the coolest job of anyone.
I'd be all "Oh, I'm going to work"
made me feel like a big kid.
Now everyone is working. Slavin away.

I do love my job a lot a lot a lot,
I am the Head of Graphic Design and Media Publications

Who wouldn't love looking at these shots all day?

And I'm still winning in the cool-kid job department,
my office ... yes, I repeat OFFICE has walls
5 to be exact, windows, 2 chairs and a computer screen bigger than my TV.
Livin large :)

Oh, and if you have a tooth-ache,
boss man can fix that too!

Taltarni

I am quite a sucker for package design. Liquor companies have such creative designs; I LOVE this wine packaging by Taltarni - so modern, clean, perfect!!

Fort Collins, CO

I spent this past weekend in the lovely Fort Collins, CO with the lovely man in my life :) We visited a few breweries and although beer is not high on my list of interests, I had a perfectly wonderful time soaking up the package design (graphic loser, I know). Odell Brewing Co. was by far my favorite - they have a lovely package designer.

I had a great time in Old Town, Fort Collins as well. We stopped to grab a bite to eat at a little burger joint - Big Al's. The food in general is pretty good, though avoid the chilly-cheese fries at all costs!! They were terrible - we truly debated asking for a refund. Besides the food, the bar inside was so trendy; it was made of various wood pieces - finished and raw - stacked beside each other. I loved it and snapped this shot!
