A Favorite Shot

Sorry to have been MIA this past week ...
new classes along with preparing to cover the SIA show next week
have me beyond busy.

After sorting through last week's Winter Park pics,
I couldn't help but share a few more :)

Can't wait to be back this weekend :)

Back to School ... or Winter Park

so I had to go back to school in Arizona on the 5th,
but I'm already taking vaca time (oops :)

the day I left, the mountains were pounded with snow,
what was I supposed to do?!

I convinced myself I was here on homework assignment.
my photojournalism class wanted us to capture people doing things.
well what's better than snow-loving people doing snow-loving things?

kid at ski school ... pretty cute stuff huh?
yes, but what's better than people doing things?
animals doing nothing ...

we saw some friends on the drive home :)

amazing day, right?
now who can blame me for ditching Arizona??

it will be really fun and all proceeds go to CASA and

Peppermint Bark Cheesecake

This is a must share ...

Peppermint Bark Cheesecake.
so this cheesecake is my all time favorite dessert.
you can imagine how sad I am when it's limited availability
at The Cheesecake Factory comes to an end
(which will be soon so hurry, hurry, hurry)
It is SOO delicious, you have to get there in time to try it.

After years of searching I have finally found a recipe that is a similar match.

you can find that recipe here, at Baked by Rachel.
But until you have time to make this ... go to the cheesecake factory.
I promise it will be a $7.95 well spent :)
